You are experienced in the various (compulsory) regulations concerning new buildings and renovations, and give specific advice on energy optimization and sustainability, but for (rain) water you are on the sideline.

We offer you the possibility to offer an extra 'sustainable water' service package next to Energy, Safety, Ventilation, Sewerage, ... where we design a custom rainwater harvesting system that is more performant with respect to water footprint and economic return compared to the pure application of the rainwater regulation. You are responsible for the implementation of rainwater harvesting system, as a total solution or for partial aspects. You subscribe to RFQ's through a set of specifications and bill of materials.

Do you endorse the Green Deal for natural gardens?
During the design phase of a garden landscape it is wise to consider the water needs of the plant zones upfront and to foresee an adequate rainwater tank and irrigation system lay-out to enable smart irrigation of specific plant zones (fruit, vegetables, levelling of a pond) during growth season, especially in drought periods. -
We support you in the design and/or project coordination of rainwater harvesting, infiltration and irrigation facilities.

We estimate realistic water needs per vegetation type and design an adequate irrigation system layout

We do not support deep well drilling because in the long term this has a negative impact on our water reserves as this encourages excessive irrigation and bad execution may lead to iron contamination of both drinking water and irrigation water. Low depth wells even endanger drought resilience of deep rooting trees.

We will advise you on natural infiltration based on the ground water level, soil type and available green area.
